About AlphaFlex

AlphaFlex is a wearable sensor platform that uses Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) to capture precise knee flexion/extension and varus/valgus angles during sports, clinical assessments and rehabilitation exercises.

Unlike traditional motion capture systems requiring laboratory environments, AlphaFlex provides clinical-grade joint angle measurement in any setting – clinic, ward, or sports field. Data is captured wirelessly and processed in real time using validated biomechanical algorithms.

How It Works

Clinical-grade joint angle measurement using validated inertial sensing technology.

Sensor Placement

Lightweight IMU sensors are attached to the thigh and lower leg using adjustable straps. No calibration blocks or external markers required.

Sensors capture 6-axis IMU data (accelerometer + gyroscope) at high frequency during dynamic movement, static holds, or gait analysis.

Algorithm Processing

Our proprieitary algorithm processes raw IMU data to compute accurate, drift-corrected joint angles for flexion/extension and varus/valgus axes.
